Charlie Barnard is an Operations Manager for Hensel Phelps. During his 30+ year career with Hensel Phelps, Charlie has worked in its Southeast, Southcentral, and Southwest Regions. He is currently located in the Southwest Region, headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. Charlie started with Hensel Phelps as an Office Engineer and has progressed within the company to his current position, where he is a senior executive and employee-owner. During his career, he has participated with the Associated Builders and Contractors and the ACE Mentor Program. Charlie has also been an active recruiter at Purdue, recruiting students to full-time and intern positions within Hensel Phelps. Charlie has long participated in the SCMT Construction Advisory Council, including serving as its President for two years.
Charlie is married to Marla (Lindemann) Barnard (IDE ’92). They met as members of the Purdue “All-American” Marching Band. Charlie and Marla have three grown daughters.
