Michael Zonsius is a life-long aviation enthusiast specializing in airport accounting and finance and is currently employed as the Chief Financial Officer for the Albany County Airport Authority.
Prior to his employment with the Albany, Michael was employed for approximately nine years as the Chief Financial Officer for the Chicago Department of Aviation responsible for the financial operations at both O’Hare and Midway International Airports. Before joining CDA, he acted in the capacity of Finance Director at the Kansas City International, Charles B. Wheeler, Greater Rockford, and Chicago Executive Airports.
Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Technology from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from DePaul University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
