Purdue Army ROTC Hall of Fame
Purdue Army ROTC recently inducted three esteemed alumni into the Purdue ROTC Hall of Fame for 2011. The ceremony was a fitting tribute to the accomplishments of these gentlemen, and their service to our country and to their communities.
This year’s Army Inductees are:
- MG (Ret) Craig B. Whelden, Purdue Army ROTC Class of 1973
- LTC (Ret) Theodore J. Williams, Jr, Purdue Army ROTC Class of 1969
- MAJ (Ret) Charles F. Day, Purdue Army ROTC Class of 1983
We were honored to induct them, and are proud to have their photo and bio on our Wall of Fame in the Armory.
This year we were also excited to welcome back the 6-time National Champion Drill Team from the 1960s. These gentlemen performed for President Kennedy on the White House, and honor us every other year by performing at the Hall of Fame Ceremony. We look forward to their performance again in April 2013.
Nominations for the Class of 2012 Hall of Fame are being accepted. Candidates must be Purdue ROTC Alumni from 1986 and earlier. Nomination packets are due by 1 November. See the “guidelines” link below for other details.
