Visits are available every Thursday throughout the fall and spring semesters. Accommodations can be made to schedule visits on other days of the week as well, however this program is not available when classes are not in session.
Spend the night with a cadet studying in your school of interest and attend typical college classes as well as the ROTC classes including our Leadership Lab and PT. You may also meet with your school of interest to learn more about what you would be studying in college.You will spend the entire visit with your cadet volunteer.
An overnight visit is the best way to get a feel for what it’s really like to be a student at Purdue University and a cadet in the Boiler Battalion. Our cadet volunteers are one of your most valuable resources they live and breathe Purdue and Boiler Battalion experience daily.
Overnight visits are open to current seniors and second-semester juniors and are arranged on a space-availability basis. A two-week notice is required to allow adequate time to arrange a matching host.

Guidelines For Overnight Visits:
While visiting Purdue University you are a guest and the responsibility of your overnight host. You are required to follow all university laws, rules and regulations as well as directions from any of the Cadre. All university policies will be followed including those on alcohol and tobacco. The university has a no tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol.
You may not depart campus without parental and/or guardian consent and the knowledge of Mr. Paul Heslin.
