Playing a key role in the built environment really gives me a sense of purpose in whatever community I'm working in. Whether it's a hospital, school, power plant, or highway, I know the work that I am doing will have a direct and positive effect on the people. One of my internships took me to Texas where we were on site managing the completion of the light rail running through downtown Houston.
