Your Veteran Education Benefits

The Post 9/11 GI Bill, Tuition Assistance Program and other programs were designed to assist veterans or their dependents with their higher education needs. These programs help with:

  • Tuition
  • Monthly housing allowance
  • Books, supplies, and an annual stipend

To use your VA education benefits at Purdue:

  1. Apply for VA education benefits one of three ways:
    • Submit electronically at www.gibill.va.gov
    • Request an application by calling toll-free (888) 442-4551
    • Ask for assistance from Purdue’s Veterans Success Center (www.purdue.edu/veterans or dogtags@purdue.edu) or from an academic advisor at any Purdue Polytechnic location throughout Indiana.
  2. Contact or visit the Department of Technology Leadership & Innovation (tliinfo@purdue.edu) to verify degree requirements.

Organizational Leadership

Offered in West Lafayette, Anderson, Columbus, Kokomo, Lafayette, New Albany, Richmond, and South Bend

Organizational leadership prepares you to lead change and transformation in today’s diverse organizations — which are increasingly driven by technology and challenged by a competitive global economy.

You’ll strengthen the technological and leadership skills you developed during your service to lead organizations and people to new levels of success. Plus, you can choose a focus area that’s linked to your dream job: international leadership, healthcare public policy, communication, human resources development, innovation & entrepreneurship, product lifecycle management and technology law & policy.

Supply Chain Management Technology

Offered in West Lafayette, Anderson, Columbus, Kokomo, Lafayette, New Albany, Richmond, and South Bend

Supply chain management technology prepares you to deliver creative solutions to help organizations manage their complex and global supply chains — the central nervous systems of organizations.

You’ll build on the logistics management skills you gained in the military to be ready to manage supply chain operations in industry. You’ll lead the processes that direct the timely and efficient movement, storage, and processing of materials and inventory that make customers happy and help businesses thrive.

 

Engineering/Technology Teacher Education

Offered in West Lafayette

Engineering/technology teacher education prepares you to create technology solutions for classrooms and businesses.

Industrial Engineering Technology

Offered in West Lafayette, Anderson, Columbus, Kokomo, Lafayette, New Albany, Richmond, and South Bend; offered in Vincennes as Industrial Technology

Build on your military experience with complex technological systems by focusing on their management, operation, and maintenance. In the military, you learned to be adaptable in constantly changing situations; you’ll employ that creativity to improve the quality and productivity of processes, systems and services.

master’s in Technology leadership & innovation

Offered in West Lafayette, on the weekend, or online

Add to your leadership skills in industry, technology or project management by specializing in biotechnology innovation and regulatory science, Lean Six Sigma quality control, supply chain management technology, biometrics and standards, or several other focus areas.
