Description
The academic advisor is responsible for all aspects of advising for incoming and current students regarding courses, activities, progress towards degree, internships and graduate programs, and audits of each student's records. The academic advisor will assist the department and the college with recruitment efforts. The advisor will assist students interested in CODO, transfers from other institutions, reentry, or readmissions into the department. The advisor will perform other duties as requested by their respective departments and the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.
The advisor will be aware of resources across campus and will be able to direct students to the appropriate office &/or person. The advisor will be aware of and convey relevant institutional policies.
