The Office of Recruiting, Retention and Diversity is hiring tutors for the BEST Tutoring program’s spring semester.
$8.50 per hour – 10 hour max
Set your own schedule and only tutor subjects that you are comfortable with and proficient in. Students are matched with tutor’s based on subject and schedule match. You must have a 3.5 GPA in subjects tutoring, with a 2.80 cumulative GPA. The ideal candidate will have prior experience tutoring, mentoring or teaching experience and effective communication skills. Priority in hiring will go to upperclassmen and students referred by faculty or staff, and students that can tutor multiple subjects, including general core coursework like English, math or physics.
