The applicant should be comfortable traveling across campus with a group of younger students, be able to serve as a positive role model for the participants, be able and willing to answer questions about college life as it relates to the participant. The ideal candidate is comfortable serving as a mentor to younger students, can self-regulate and can stay on task without constant supervision, is organized and enjoys being creative and doing projects.

Interested individuals should complete an application for summer employment with the Office of Recruitment, Retention and Diversity (RRD) in Knoy 150 for consideration.  Interviews will be scheduled early into the spring semester and will be filled on a first come basis.  Priority will go to students in the Polytechnic, students affiliated with the Office of Recruitment, Retention and Diversity (RRD) student organizations, or students that are available throughout the summer and can cross train into more than one position.
