Clinical Assistant Professor

Job Summary

Purdue University, is accepting applications for two Clinical Assistant Professor positions (non-tenure track) beginning in fall 2022. These faculty appointments are in the Department of Computer and Information Technology, the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.  Note, the positions are not for the main campus in West Lafayette, Indiana.  One position will be located in Anderson Indiana and the second position will be located in Columbus Indiana.  Both positions may require travel to the CIT statewide locations in Anderson Indiana,  Kokomo Indiana and Columbus Indiana.

Description: Essential job duties include the following: (1) Teach undergraduate courses in multiple concentration areas in computer and information technology including: application development, database, networking and systems analysis and design; (2) deliver classes in-person at assigned location and via distance or in-person education to other statewide locations; (3) develop traditional in-person and online undergraduate courses in computer an information technology; (4) perform customary faculty assignments and student mentoring; (5) demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and transformational education;  (6) serve on curriculum committees; (7) engage government and industry through collaboration with CIT faculty, other academic units, and external organizations.

Qualifications

M.S. or M.A. and relevant industry experience in information technology.
