Graduate programs in cyber forensics helped Purdue earn the #1 Best Cyber Security College ranking from CyberDegrees.org.
The cyber forensics specializations in the Master of Science and Ph.D. programs in Purdue Polytechnic’s Department of Computer and Information Technology contributed to the #1 ranking. Graduate programs in the College of Science and College of Engineering as well as an interdisciplinary specialization in info-security administered by CERIAS were also factored into Purdue’s #1 rank.
Marcus Rogers, professor and head of the Department of Computer and Information Technology, said that the ranking is an indicator of the quality of the cyber forensics program’s graduates.
“We will also see an uptick in companies that are wanting more access to our students,” said Rogers.
