Professors find many reasons to transform courses

Alejandra MaganaMany of Purdue Polytechnic Institute’s faculty have gone through Purdue’s IMPACT program. The acronym stands for Instruction Matters: Purdue Academic Course Transformation. The program is a University-wide initiative in which faculty redesign foundational courses around active, participatory student-centered teaching and learning.

Alejandra Magana, associate professor of computer and information technology, was enrolled in the program during Fall 2015. She appreciated most the resources and networking that the program afforded her.
