Intelligent Learning Factory prepares Polytechnic graduates for Industry 4.0

Ragu Athinarayanan and Grant Richards are organizing Purdue Polytechnic’s Intelligent Manufacturing Initiative to prepare graduates equipped to make decisions and solve problems based on data from artificial intelligence, robotics, cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things, cloud computing and other advanced technologies in automation and data exchange.

CareerMakers workforce development site to launch at WestGate@Crane

WestGate @ Crane Technology Park will become the first of several CareerMakers sites throughout Indiana, according to Geanie Umberger, associate dean for engagement. CareerMakers is a workforce development facilitator to help businesses develop and maintain the workforces they need. Consultation, assessments, education, workshops, and trainings are among the services offered by the program.
