Women in Technology sit to take a stand

An empty red chair will beckon to students, faculty and staff in Knoy Hall March 5, urging them to reflect on the role of women in technology.

As part of the national Sit With Me campaign, Purdue’s Women in Technology student organization will embrace the slogan “sometimes you have to sit to take a stand” and invite others to offer insights about women in technology.

Women and men are invited to share their thoughts between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 5 in the Knoy Hall lobby.
