Takami reflects on first year, eyes future of New Albany location

Andrew Takami, one year after becoming director of Purdue College of Technology, New Albany, was featured in a recent issue of the News and Tribune, which serves southeast Indiana.

“As a university, we want to be relevant to this community, to the families, the businesses,” Takami told the publication. “The way to be relevant is to educate. As our enrollment grows, we’re able to impact more students, more families, more businesses. We will continue to have that as the No. 1 focus, but all of these actually relate.”
