Taking college topics to high school classrooms

Purdue College of Technology, South Bend is reaching out to local high schools and organizations through educational presentations. John Piller, continuing lecturer, created three lecture topics: energy usage, Tesla (AC) vs. Edison (DC), and engineering disasters.

The topics are designed to fit into a high school curriculum giving students the opportunity to apply principles they’ve already learned as well as to learn something new. The topics are geared more toward physics and Project Lead the Way classes.
