Have a look at our *preliminary schedule for the ISU 2024.

Get the most out of your summer and join us for a summer school in the heart of Germany. Our short-term program combines an academic course with a German language course and several social and leisure activities. The ISU is a unique opportunity to learn more about sustainability from a German perspective and to be part of a truly international experience. Purdue Professor Matt Turner will join the first course on Sustainable and Climate-Friendly Societies as the academic director and he is partnering with Darmstadt Professor Dominik Dueber on the academic content. The International Summer University (ISU) consists of an academic module (9 ECTS) which will transfer for Purdue Polytechnic students as ENGT 39900 (transfer credit), a German language course (3 ECTS) which will transfer as 1.5 credits of GER 39900, several cultural activities (day trips to Heidelberg and the Rhine River Valley, soccer stadium tour, climbing park, karaoke, retro games, & movie nights, intercultural training, and many more), plus a 4-day academic excursion to Berlin.
