What made you decide to major in Computer Graphics Technology?
I’m from Miami, Florida. I wanted to have a completely different atmosphere and a different perspective. Purdue is a leader for developing professionals. I’m a transfer. I completed my associate’s degree and came here to finish. Computer graphics interested me because you’re able to be in the field of science at the same time as the field of art. Those mix together and it’s a great dynamic. You really get the opportunity to learn, to see what past students have done, and to see opportunities for your future.
What would be one piece of advice for prospective students or new Purdue students?
Be open. Try everything you can. Find what you like. Find what your weaknesses are, find your passion, and really dig into yourself. That’s really going to be the bread and butter in your development as a professional. They say work is going to be one-third of your lifetime, so it has to be something you love.
