What are a couple of your favorite things about your program of study?

The hands-on experience is a favorite thing about my program. Within the first 48 hours of being a freshman, I was in the air flying an airplane. I also enjoy the atmosphere at the airport. It’s sort of a school of its own and is more relaxed.

What has been one of your favorite class projects?

My favorite project of freshman year was when my group and I had to present on why one turbofan engine was a better fit for an aircraft than another.

What was something unique about one of your summer internships?

One unique thought about my summer internship is the positive impact on a company that you can have in a small amount of time.

What would be one piece of advice for prospective students or new Purdue students?

Use your resources! Purdue offers a variety of support options, and it’s just the matter of accepting that you need help and going after it.

What made you decide to choose your specific major?

At a young age, I traveled a lot and I instantly fell in love with aviation.
