What are a couple of your favorite things about your program of study?
I like all of the software that I am exposed to and all of the hands-on experience.
What has been one of your favorite class projects?
So far, one of my favorite class projects was a modeling project in CATIA where I modeled Olaf.
What other activities are you involved in on campus?
I am a member of Women in Technology and a Witty Mentor. I worked this summer as a STAR ambassador for incoming freshmen. I am also a member of the Paint Crew Student section!
What do you know about your program of study now that you wish someone had told you when you were choosing a major?
I didn't even know my major existed until the second semester of my freshman year, so I would definitely suggest doing your research about all of the different majors available and keeping your eyes open even after choosing a major. They are always adding new majors and classes.
What would be one piece of advice for prospective students or new Purdue students?
I would strongly suggest getting involved in at least one organization on campus as soon as possible. It is a great way to meet people and feel more connected to Purdue.
What made you decide to choose your specific major?
I started to explore options in Purdue Polytechnic. When I discovered BIM, it clicked in my head that it would be the perfect fit for me.
