Starting as a secretary V, Emily Wolf has been a devoted staff member of the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology since October of 2016. In 2018, Emily received a promotion to Senior Administrative Assistant, and in 2021 earned the promotion of Lead Administrative Assistant. Emily wears many hats in the department, with her primary roles focusing on Scheduling Deputy and Assistant to the Head. Emily earned her Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification through Purdue University in 2012, and completed her BA in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2021. Emily is part of the Native American community, and has a deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion of people, cultures, perspectives and experiences. Emily was the recipient of the Polytechnic Bravo Award based on outstanding contributions to SATT in 2018, and the Dean’s Good to Great award in 2020.
Prior to working at Purdue, Emily was an EMT-B and Patient Access trainer at IU Health Arnett. She was identified by IU Health Arnett administration as a future leader and was consistently chosen for Lean projects as an expert in her field. Emily demonstrated the ability to learn and develop new organizational processes, workflows, policies and procedures with minimal ramp-up time, earning outstanding reviews and multiple awards for service, accuracy and excellence.
