As the Assessment Program Specialist in the Office of Assessment & Accreditation for Purdue Polytechnic, I am responsible for managing and coordinating all assessment and accreditation activities, and have the lead role in program assessment protocol for the college. Currently, the Polytechnic has 12 undergraduate programs accredited by 5 accrediting organizations. Working in assessment and accreditation has been such a wonderful experience, and there’s always something new on the horizon. Staying on top of our accreditation policies and assessment activities, along with elevating Purdue Polytechnic to become a leader in assessment and accreditation, keeps my Office of Assessment & Accreditation quite busy. Prior to assuming my current position, I began my career at Purdue in 2016 working in the School of Aviation & Transportation Technology. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business-Human Resources Management from Western Governors University, and I'm currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Management & Leadership.
Having grown up in San Antonio, Texas since I was 6 weeks old (born in Los Angeles), I consider myself a Texan. A lifelong Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan, you can often find me sharing game highlights, and stories of my Cowboys and Spurs.
When I take a break from my quest for world domination, I spend my downtime with my husband, Patrick, daughters Alexyse and Payton, and my adorable grandson, Kameryn. I also make time to read, and work with several of my favorite authors alpha/beta reading, proofreading, and reviewing their books.
