Misty Clugh, Administrative Assistant to Senior Associate Dean Dr. Robert F. Cox and ISS Liaison
Office of Globalization
Misty Clugh lives and works with one motto in mind, from Ralph Waldo Emerson: "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm." She has enthusiasm for people (especially her family), their stories, and global experiences.
She hears many stories, from the students and faculty who need her assistance as they plan their international experiences abroad or to Purdue from other countries. In fact, without her assistance as the Office of Globalization Administrative Assistant, it’s possible their trips may not even happen. Misty makes sure legal documents are gathered, paperwork is completed and plans are made.
A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in studio art, Misty completed her own study abroad in Venice and traveled to China with a non-profit group while she was a student.
Her previous work experiences include stints as executive assistant for Liberty Dialysis, district director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and field manager for Information Resources.
She spends much of her free time with her two 7-year-old dogs, Sienna and Gracie, and with her human family, too. Misty is past president of the Alpha Delta Chapter of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority and an ordained ruling elder at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Lafayette.
