All of the undergraduate programs at WL are accredited. Accreditation is a form of external validation for the college’s program – are we doing what we say we are doing, as judged by an external agency and its professional members? Are processes in place that ensure that we are continually improving our curricula and making sure that what we are teaching is relevant and valuable in the workplace?
Accreditation requires that every aspect of a program is reviewed – courses and assignments, facilities, faculty, curriculum, and funding to name a few. Accreditation is a multiyear process and requires a significant investment of time on the part of the faculty and staff, but it is worthwhile in that it provides a measure of assurance for students and their families that we are doing what we say we are doing and providing what we say we are providing.
Information about the specific agency that accredits a specific program can be found in each degree section. Just select a degree program page and the accrediting agency is listed on the program’s home page.
