Adam Miller graduated with distinction in 2007 from the School of Engineering Technology with a major in mechanical engineering technology; he followed that with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from MIT.
When Miller was asked to reflect back on an experience that reinforced his choice in the College of Technology, he answered, “the Manufacturing Processes module. You had to first study the topic of welding, then use the various types of welding machines to fuse metals together and then compare and critique.” He went on to say, “…recalling these lessons has been especially beneficial in my current role as director of operations for the metal fabrication division at Big 3 Precision Products.”
Outside of work, Miller is involved in the Goodwill electronics recycling program, the Manos de Cristo Foundation and Texas Wildfire Reforestation.
