What factors led you to pursue a career in IT?
I really enjoy helping people solve problems with information technology. I really like what I learned in systems analysis and design classes because it taught me how to figure out what people need from computer systems.
Did you participate in internships?
I interned for North American Van Lines Quality Assurance department between my junior and senior years. I wrote a small mainframe application to track damage reports on their car hauler fleet.
What advice would you give to current or prospective CIT students?
Get to know the others in your CIT classes – these people will help you through the ups and downs of the tough classes and will make the experience fun.
