The purpose of this project is to integrate smart technology with bicycle locks. The technology would be used to lock, unlock, and make publicly available bikes capable of being shared with the general population. Thus, making it easier for the team to build and manage the cost of traditional bike share operations. After the team discussion, our team has a plan that focuses on adding the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology or QR code technology into a bike lock in order to find a viable solution to the problem.
