Our product is a chair that transforms into a full-sized bed. The functional sleeper chair aims to bring a comfortable, compact solution to urban living spaces in search of a sitting solution that folds into a bed for overnight guests. The targeted market is people in their 20s-30s living in small urban areas who want long-lasting furniture that will hold up through multiple moves at a reasonable price as well as those who want space for occasional overnight guests. This market segment is looking for low-cost solutions that are sleek, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing to provide a bed for overnight guests while not taking up more space than necessary in a small urban living space.

With more than four billion people living in urban areas, present day apartments are increasingly becoming smaller and smaller. This has led to an increased popularity in multipurpose furniture, especially ones that can accommodate overnight guests.
