Risk Analysis And Assessment

Credit Hours: 3.00.  This course introduces the tools for identifying and analyzing inherent risks associated with the decision-making process. The challenges of quantitative risk assessment are introduced using decision trees, influence diagrams, and probability models. The concepts of risk index, options, avoidance, prevention, and reduction are discussed in the context of technology systems.
