Assistant/Associate Professor - Power Electronics

The School of Engineering Technology at Purdue University has a full-time opening at its West Lafayette, Indiana Campus, beginning no later than August 2015. This position is for an Assistant/Associate Professor.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level in the design and application of power electronics hardware for power supplies and drive systems. The candidate will also be expected to serve the university community by participating in committees, recruiting activities, student advising, engagement efforts with the local industry, and assessment activities intended to maintain accreditation. Applicants for the tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position must have a PhD in engineering technology, engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant, recent industrial experience is required, and prior teaching experience and PE license are highly desirable. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
