Chopra receives ATMAE scholarship

Shweta Chopra, a doctoral student in technology leadership & innovation, is one of two recipients of the 2011 Dr. Clois Kicklighter Doctoral Student Scholarship provided by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE). She received official recognition at the ATMAE fall conference Nov. 11 in Cleveland, Ohio. The ATMAE (formerly NAIT) Foundation Board established the Dr. Clois E. Kicklighter Doctoral Student Scholarship Award Program in 2003. The program was named after Clois E. Kicklighter in recognition of his significant contributions to ATMAE and to the discipline of Industrial Technology. The program was endowed by a generous gift from Dr. Kicklighter and provides $2,500 scholarship awards for applicants planning for a career in Technology, Applied Technology, Engineering Technology, or a Technology Related Discipline and have been accepted in a doctoral level program designed to prepare for that career.
