College names two directors of industry engagement

Mike Reckowsky and Carly Turow have been appointed as directors of industry engagement for the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.

Mike ReckowskyThe new roles within the college’s Office of Engagement were created to develop and support the growing capstone, internship and workforce development programs. They will engage with companies, identify new opportunities and establish new corporate relationships.

Reckowsky comes to the Polytechnic from the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research at Purdue where he was a research security administrator charged with export control. He also has served as administrative director for Purdue’s Department of Food Science and was a campaign manager for two U.S. congressional races. Reckowsky earned his bachelor’s degree in campaign management in political science from Purdue.

Carly TurowTurow most recently served as a projects specialist for Purdue’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership, part of the larger Technical Assistance Program. Previously, she served as campus president for corporate partnerships at Harrison College. A licensed attorney and registered civil law mediator, she earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue.
