Through the new partnership, students who earn a private pilot certificate may interview with the company to join the First Officer Cadet Program and earn a commercial pilot certificate with a multi-engine rating. Pilot cadets who are on-boarded at Mesa Airline’s headquarters will receive $10,000 toward completion of the CFI program.

Pilot cadets will train for a Restricted-Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification. Cadets who complete the program within 18 months will become pilots and will complete a one-year commitment to the company.

Similar agreements for Aviation and Transportation Technology students are in place with Cape Air, PSA Airlines, Piedmont Airlines, Envoy Air, and Republic Airline.
