Polytechnic professors lend expertise to 2016 Dawn or Doom

Four Purdue Polytechnic professors will lend their perspectives to the 2016 Dawn or Doom conference, scheduled for October 3-4 at Purdue University.

The conference will feature 26 presentations over two days, covering topics such as virtual reality, cybersecurity, robotics, internet life, and food and water contamination.

Invited speakers include Dave Eggers, author of The Circle; Jorge Cham, creator of PhD Comics; Emily Dreyfuss, news and opinion editor for Wired; and Bob Mankoff, cartoon editor for The New Yorker.

Purdue Polytechnic professors who will speak under the broader topic of “The Risks and Rewards of the New Technology Explosion” are:
