Following minor renovations, the STEM-focused innovative high school will occupy a 12,400-square-foot building at 1405 Broad Ripple Avenue and welcome an inaugural class of 150 ninth-grade students in July for the 2019-2020 school year.

Purdue Polytechnic's first Indianapolis charter school opened in 2017. It currently has more than 250 freshman and sophomore students at its downtown Indianapolis location at Circle Centre Mall.
