The Purdue University Board of Trustees on Thursday (Oct. 10) extended Gary Bertoline’s term as dean of the Purdue Polytechnic Institute through June 30, 2022, with an exception to the mandatory retirement age policy. The board approved a similar extension for Bertoline in December 2015.
Bertoline is a distinguished professor of computer graphics technology and computer and information technology. He co-founded the Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center and has been instrumental in leading the Polytechnic Institute transformation initiative at Purdue.
