Science Bound finds new home in Purdue Polytechnic

The Science Bound program at Purdue University is now part of the Purdue Polytechnic Institute and has been renamed Purdue Bound. The program had been part of the Provost’s Office.

Gary Bertoline, dean of the Purdue Polytechnic, says the Purdue Bound program is a natural fit with the college’s goals for higher education transformation. The college is working to improve the pipeline of high school students who are ready for and excited to pursue STEM-related majors and careers in the Polytechnic Institute as well as other colleges at Purdue.

“Science Bound has established a model for success. We want to build on its experience to make it an even stronger entity for its partners in Indianapolis,” Bertoline said.
