Kathryn Seigfried-Spellar, associate professor of computer and information technology, and Rua Mae Williams, assistant professor of computer graphics technology, were among 12 faculty and staff members named as Purdue’s first Societal Impact Fellows.
A new professional development opportunity, the Societal Impact Fellows Program is arming Purdue faculty and staff with training and tools to create grant proposals that impact society. The proposals will reach across mission areas, integrating discovery with the scholarship of engagement, teaching and learning.
