Kathryn Harville, a senior in mechanical engineering technology, received a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship from the U.S. Department of State.

Whether he is at a construction site or at the plant, Matt High works to keep Purdue up and running every day. High works at the Wade Utility Plant as a utilities mechanical engineer. The plant uses steam to generate electricity, heat and chilled water throughout campus.

Maureen Fang, a Ph.D. candidate in mechanical engineering technology, is the inaugural Advanced Manufacturing Fellow for ASME.

Fang began her year-long term in January, and she is based at the Youngstown, Ohio, headquarters of the America Makes innovation center.

Joseph P. Fuehne, Maha Associate Professor of Fluid Power for the College of Technology, has been appointed director of Purdue University’s College of Technology locations at Columbus and Greensburg.

He will oversee operations for both College of Technology locations. The Columbus location is headquartered in the Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence, and the Greensburg location operates out of the Greensburg Learning Center.
