Purdue University's Board of Trustees approved faculty promotions during their April 21, 2017, meeting. The promotions are effective with the 2017-18 academic year.
The Purdue Polytechnic Institute professors whose promotions were approved are:

- Stephen Elliott, professor of technology leadership and innovation
