Two student pilots begin the 40th Women’s Air Race Classic Tuesday (June 21) as the collegiate Purdue team. Molly Van Scoy and Mary McCarty continue Purdue’s presence in the race as the University's 22nd entry.
The race, in addition to a competition, is a learning opportunity and a celebration of women in aviation.
