CIT is a lot more than just IT. I didn’t know beforehand that it has a lot of group projects and teamwork, but it has improved my ability to problem-solve in groups. I want to do something with cybersecurity, and I’m minoring in Russian. The culture is absolutely fascinating!

What are a couple of your favorite things about your program of study?

Everyone is friendly.  I’ve gone to a “this is what I want to do with my life … do you have any suggestions?” type questions that I ask my professors at office hours.

What was something unique about one of your summer internships?

My co-op with RSA, a cyber security company, focused on fraud and phishing attacks, and how to shut them down.

What other activities are you involved in on-campus?

I’m a member of Women in Technology, work about 25 hours a week and am a frequent user of the CoRec.
