Brian Birk earned his associate’s degree in mechanical engineering technology in 1982, then continued on to earn his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering technology in 1983 from Purdue University
Birk’s career has taken him all over the country and from manufacturing development engineer with Boeing Company to engineering manager with Nellcor Puritan Bennett Incorporated. Dedicated to his industry and growth, Birk earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. He later founded Birk Aerosystems Corporation, providing high-quality interior products to the transportation industry and building a company that prides itself on exceptional customer service, short delivery times, custom designs and competitive pricing.
A lifetime member of the Purdue Alumni Association, Birk and his wife, Connie – also a Boilermaker –have continuously given back to their beloved alma mater. Establishing the “Connie and Brian Birk Undergraduate Nursing Scholarship Endowment” and the “Brian and Connie Birk MET Scholarship Endowment,” the Birks exemplify what it means to be a Boilermaker for life.
