What made you decide to choose your specific major?
I decided on choosing UX design because I liked how you get to work with people and design products, ideas or websites to help make the experience. I also like how you can apply it to many different careers.
What are a couple of your favorite things about your program of study?
So far a couple of my favorite things are group projects and and learning more about UX design in general and how I can apply it.p
What has been one of your favorite class projects?
My favorite class projects right now is my experience studio project where my group is working with P&G. It’s one of my favorite because it’s very hands on and I love gaining experience and knowledge by working directly with a company.
What other activities are you involved in on campus?
Other activities I am involved with is I am in sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi.
What do you know about your program of study now that you wish someone had told you when you were choosing a major?
UX design is more hands on then you think, you work in groups/teams on projects and actually get to apply what you learn.
What would be one piece of advice for prospective students or new Purdue students?
Always try new things and get involved as soon as possible!
