Why are you a CIT Student Council Member?
The CIT student Council gives me the opportunity to let the students have a voice for what they want out of their college career. I have always felt very passionate about our department and being able to be one of its representatives is extraordinary. It allows me to be the much-needed connection between the students and the department.
What other activities are you involved in on or off campus?
Outside of the council I am a student manager for the Purdue Football team. I spend much of my time there including travelling with the team to road games. Odds are if you look on the sidelines you may spot me! Other than football I am also a member of AITP (Association of Information Technology Professionals).
Where do you want to be/ what do you want to be doing in 10 years?
Ten years from now I want to be established in my career working for a large company, preferably one of the tech giants working as a cyber analyst or even as a network security engineer.
Why did you choose the Polytechnic Institute?
Coming in from out-of-state, I was forced to choose a college that would accept me and allow me to feel comfortable in a new and foreign setting. Purdue Polytechnic not only felt like the right fit, but its track record and reputation were unbeatable compared to the other colleges I looked at.
