All of my coursework helped me prepare for my new job. The third avionics course in my major is helping me develop a well-rounded understanding of many types of avionic systems. I have also learned much regarding leadership and professionalism.

Describe your potential job duties

Designing repairs or modifications for aircraft and implementing those repairs.

Who would you like to thank as you finish your time at Purdue and start your career?

I would like to thank my Grandpa Wendell, who instilled the love of aviation in me and the value of hard work. Without him, I would not be where I am today.

What specific classes helped prepare you for your new job?

A class I am in currently, Aircraft Electronics, is helping me prepare for my new job. As the third avionics course in my major, it is helping me develop a well-rounded understanding of many types of avionic systems.

If you had a favorite class, project, experience, or professor, what/who was it, and why?

Professor Thom's Fixed and Rotary Wing Assemblies was my favorite class because I learned a lot of good information about aircraft structures and components. Later, I became a teaching assistant in his lab, and I have learned more from him regarding leadership and professionalism.
