In what ways did the Polytechnic and/or Purdue help make you uniquely qualified for your new job?

Purdue and Polytechnic gave me all the resources I needed to stand on my own two feet and be confident in myself. They pushed me past my comfort zone, and from that I've been able to grow into a man that is ready to enter the workforce.

Who would you like to thank as you finish your time at Purdue and start your career?

I would like to thank my parents (Kerry & Cynthia Triplett) for the sacrifices they made to get me to this point. I would also like to thank my older sister (Ciera Triplett) for leading the way for me and being a huge role model. Lastly, I would like to thank my best friend and high school sweetheart (Jenna Stevenson) for being a blessing in my life and for helping mold me into the man I am today.

If you had a favorite class, project, experience, or professor, what/who was it, and why?

My favorite class project was the request for proposal (RFP) we had to complete in CM 40000. The entire CM 40000 class is centered around your group RFP project and you spend the semester working through it. At the end of the semester, you present it to industry professionals who will judge your work. This was my favorite project because it gave us real-world experience and feedback from industry professionals. Projects like this are what can give a student the experience they need heading into the workforce.
