The labs I participated in allowed me to apply what I learned in real time, which was an invaluable experience. Purdue also gave resources that have greatly expanded my professional network, and those relationships are something you can’t put a price tag on.

Describe your potential job duties

As a consultant, I will be working on in-house and client projects. Specific tasks can include working on migrations and developing presentation decks for technical and non-technical people to keep them up to date on various tasks within a project. I will also travel to client sites for any on-site work that is required.

In what ways did the Polytechnic and/or Purdue help make you uniquely qualified for your new job?

Purdue Polytechnic increased my hands-on technical skills. The labs I participated in allowed me to apply what I learned in real time, which was an invaluable experience. Purdue also gave resources that have greatly expanded my professional network, and those relationships are something you can’t put a price tag on.

If you had a favorite class, project, experience, or professor, what/who was it, and why?

My favorite Professor is Nicole Hands; she provided unique insight into the IT industry during my time at Purdue. She was also willing to go the extra mile to ensure I understood the content if needed. Also, she is just a great professor to speak with about life. I’ve also really enjoyed all the cultural experiences I’ve had at Purdue, such as trips with Purdue Polytechnic or the Black Cultural Center.
