What made you decide to choose your specific major?
I chose CMT because I have always loved watching construction influence the world around me. I value being able to see progress in my work and in construction it is truly visible!
What are a couple of your favorite things about your program of study?
I love Construction Management Technology because our professors have industry experience and connections which make our job/intern search that much better!
What has been one of your favorite class projects?
My favorite class project was getting to build the Boiler Crib in CM150, this class requires you to use industry processes to build a small-scale building. I enjoyed this because of the hands-on challenges.
What other activities are you involved in on campus?
I am involved in Greek Life, Boiler Gold Rush, and Purdue Dance Marathon
What do you know about your program of study now that you wish someone had told you when you were choosing a major?
When I chose Construction Management Technology, I wish I knew that we required 800 hours of internship experience throughout your time at Purdue. This is what makes students of the program so valued!
What would be one piece of advice for prospective students or new Purdue students?
My best piece of advice would be, get involved with your school, there are so many networking events and connections to be made once you are on campus.
