BS ’96, Building Construction Technology

In 1994, James Gardiner enrolled at Purdue’s College of Technology.

Upon graduation in 1996, he joined his family construction business and became the third generation at Gardiner & Gardiner.

The Gardiner family sold their company in 2009. James subsequently opened Owner Rep Consulting in 2010, providing construction management services to banks, real estate developers, and non-profits in the Baltimore/D.C. metropolitan market. In addition to his consulting business, James is a partner at Crofton Bowling Center and recently founded a commercial construction company providing services in Maryland, Gardiner & Adams General Contractors.

Gardiner is an active member of the Purdue Technology Alumni Board and makes the trip back to campus several times each year for meetings. He also volunteers with the Salvation Army (Annapolis) and serves on the Anne Arundel Community College Construction Advisory Board. He is a past Board member of Associated Builders and Contractors (Chesapeake Shores Chapter).

Gardiner lives in Annapolis, Maryland, with his wife, Lisanna, and their children, Daniel and Valerie.
